Actually his name is Pokey in Earthbound, since that is what they translated it directly into from Mother 2 into Earthbound.

He actually is not given the name "Porky" in Earthbound. The only times he is actually given the "Porky" name, is in the English translated ROM of Mother 3, and also in SSBB, which they gave him the name "Porky" since it was a more accurate translation.

But he is indeed named Pokey in the original Earthbound translation.

And yes, I do know the name Pokey is suppose to mean Porky, but that's not what Earthbound originally translated it into, so I didn't want to do Porky, since there were probably going to be more people that said, its "Pokey", not "Porky"
